Notes

Only the section element (TABLE, THEAD or TBODY) needs an ID and no class names are assumed.
It does not intefere with any existing styles on the TABLE, TRs nor TDs.
You do not have to hard-code the number of rows or columns anywhere.
You do not have to make assignments to the onmouseover or onmouseout attributes in the HTML.
Tested on WinXP with Opera 9.20, Firefox 2.0.0.3, Safari 3.0.2, IE 7 and IE 5. Tested on Win2K with Firefox 1.0.2 and IE 6. I'm not sure but this demo may have problems in Safari 1.2 and IE 5.2 Mac. If you've tested it on these please let us know.
